What is the Amped ACU Junior Enduro Academy?
The Amped ACU Junior Enduro Academy is a new initiative with a clear mission – to develop up-and-coming talent in enduro. The academy will provide exclusive training opportunities, focused coaching, mentorship and advice, to ensure each athlete reaches their full potential.

Designed to identify and support the next generation of talented enduro riders, the Amped ACU Junior Enduro Academy is for aspiring young riders (both male and female) who are eager to develop their skills, train with elite coaches, and compete on the international stage.
The program will offer a unique opportunity for junior riders to receive expert coaching, participate in high-performance training camps, and gain valuable experience in competitive environments. Athletes selected will benefit from a structured programme designed to prepare them for national and international competitions.
Pathway to Success
The Amped ACU Junior Enduro Academy is open to British riders aged 16 to 21, who demonstrate passion, dedication, and potential in the sport, and (preferably) compete in the British Enduro Championship*. The program for 2025 will consist of a Welcome & Assessment Event to evaluate skills and introduce athletes to the academy, numerous Training Camps focused on refining techniques, competition strategy, and mental and physical resilience, with ongoing Coaching, Mentorship & Support available to prepare selected riders for high-level competitions.
*Riders with no prior BEC experience (possibly due to their age), who believe they can demonstrate the required potential to be considered for the academy are invited to apply.
Supporting UK Enduro
The Amped ACU Junior Enduro Academy is headed by Jonty Edmunds and Alex Snow, both well-known figures within the British enduro scene, and backed officially by the ACU. Together, and with the support of additional coaches, trainers, and special guests, the aim is clear - to increase the number of British enduro athletes who have the skills, confidence, competencies, knowledge, and resilience to progress and excel in both national and international enduro competition.
