Cab Screens Husqvarna Winter Update

It’s been quiet on the racing front for a few months, but as you can imagine, there’s an awful lot going behind the scenes here at Cab Screens Husqvarna. All 4 of our riders have been busy getting themselves fit and up to speed for when the season kicks off next month, so we thought you should all know what everyone has been up to.

Lee Webber, Team Manager - "It's been a strange off season, met some old and new sponsors at the Dirt Bike show and having our race bike on the Michelin stand was a real high point. Then came the bombshell in December of losing our title sponsor, since then we've worked tirelessly as a team to cover that financial hole and we are looking good to go for 2017. It has left me a bit behind where I wanted to be at this stage of the season with graphics and designs but come the start of the season we will be ready. Great to see all 4 lads having really good off seasons and working really hard, it's something that spurs me on and I'm looking forward to getting going in March now"

Dan Thornhill – “My training is going well this off season. It was a long road for me to get back on track after my back and neck injuries and concussion. Things are pretty much where they need to be now, both on and off the bike and I can’t wait for the season to kick off”

James Harrison – “My winter training has been going well in prep for the 2017 season. I’ve been training for 3 months now, on and off the bike with 272 training schools. Our base training ended at Christmas so we are now concentrating on improving on the bike and intervals in Gym. Neville Bradshaw and I have been in Spain for the last 2 weeks and have completed 16 x 30 minute motos”

Josh Coleman – “During this off season I’ve been working hard and riding every weekend, getting in some solid sand practice. I’ve also spent a considerable amount of my time in the gym, focusing on my strength, conditioning and endurance. I’m really seeing the benefits on and off the bike and ready to let it rip at Hawkstone Park”

Josh Peters – “ I've been riding at different tracks lately, such as Rushmere, Mill Lane, Milk Run, Moto101, and am already feeling comfortable and making good progression on each ride. During the week I'm down my local gym at least 3 times with my Personal Trainer working extremely hard on my fitness and stamina ready for the season ahead. I'd like to thank Cab Screens Husqvarna for this amazing opportunity and I can’t wait for the 2017 season to start”
